thursday night creatives

every thursday night, our creative group meets for two hours between 6pm and 8pm.

we are organising a workshop program for the later in the year.

the thursday night creatives have been getting together since 2016, sewing bunting, screen printing tshirts and painting signs.

since then individual projects and skill sharing have been pursued with activities like weaving, rug making, knitting, crochet, bees wax wraps, twining and more going on.

we've done community projects, such as making 1,000 flowers crafted from old tshirts to create a tree jumper as an entry to the warwick jumpers and jazz festival, and the table decorations for the boonah long table event.

we're always making shopping and produce bags, and would love people to get involved and we're happy to provide fabric. we have a pattern, and welcome donations of fabric and curtaining etc for bags. here is the pattern.

we are currently meeting at the CWA hall in walter street, and we are weaving rugs for the reclaim the void project. all welcome, it's $4 to cover venue hire, and feel free to bring a plate to share.

if you want to know more, just send an email, or phone Julie on 0435 992 798.
